Beyond our formal virtual gatherings, members make an effort to stay in touch through email messages, phone calls, text messaging, video chats, one-on-one zoom calls and pre-Covid 19 one on one gatherings. As a group we also look for opportunities to gather socially. Thus far, we have done bowling, ice cream socials, museum visits, restaurant gatherings (Texas de Brazil was a hit), breakfast gatherings, and BBQ.
We meet every two weeks on Sunday evenings from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. We are an Open Men's Group. Men who identify themselves as Men are welcomed. We welcome all men regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, color, creed, nationality, political affiliations, economic status. or sexual orientation. We support and practice Universal Principles such as: affirming human dignity, love, compassion, respect, civility, individual freedom, individual conscience, human flourishing, benevolence, generosity, hospitality, altruism, integrity, honesty, truthfulness, understanding, reason, growth, responsibility and spirituality. Our current members are from Central New York, Maryland, Pennsylvania and other locations.
We maintain that even though, this is a Men's Group for men who identify themselves as men, this Men's Group is NOT a group for every man, just for particular men. In other words, we want to attract like-minded men who are passionate about exploring how to create a balanced, healthy, grounded life. We focus on emotional work that leads to personal growth and development. We are not a country club or social club.
If you are interested in seeing what we are about please contact us via Email or at the Meetup site. We are here to welcome, encourage, support, challenge and celebrate you within a brotherhood of men who create a positive and safe, but challenging environment. The Meetup site is our main promotional platform that we use for our upcoming scheduled gatherings.
There is a suggested $5.00 donation per gathering. First time visitors are always welcomed without giving a donation.
